About Us

JC was born and raised in the small town of Hamer, Idaho (pop 104). He grew up working on the family farm and learning the business of forage production at an early age. The idea for Cubeit was formed when two brothers, JC and Travis, wanted to find a new outlet for their alfalfa commodity. Beginning with the foundation of the family farm, combined with the knowledge that alfalfa is the cleanest most efficient feed for a horse and being raised by a father who was a horse loving man himself, the next step was an easy decision. Both of these boys were taught that quality forages were important to animals. Their upbringing emphasized on producing the best quality feed possible. Fast forward to 2014. The boys were able to start the pursuit of meeting the goal of production, accomplishing a high quality cube that consumers would love and would put a smile on their father’s face. They put together a team that had the same goals and work together not only as employees but as extended family. Today, the Cubeit team is still grounded in the same little town in southeastern Idaho. Every morning they can be found up to their elbows producing one of the highest quality forage cubes in the world. Their adventure of building a company has become a reality and finding another way to market their alfalfa production is a goal met then surpassed. While JC and his brother built a business geared for success, both have not forgotten their roots for family. JC and his wife Lynzi have 4 children–Zaylee, Jensen, Briggs and Josie who keep them
busy and involved in school activities.

Our Sales/Logistics for Cubeit Hay Company is headed by Dustin. He has deep seated roots from the town of Saint Anthony, Idaho, located in the Snake River Valley. His involvement with the Cubeit team is
a natural progression from growing up in that area. He grew up on and currently lives on the family farm, attends college and is pursuing a degree in Animal Science. Dustin started working for Cubeit in
February of 2019. He began his career on the bagging crew, eventually extending into a position at the hay chopper. His day to day position includes the daily multitasking from logistics to processing orders
and sales. Being a self starter and a team leader are just a few of things we love about Dustin here at Cubeit. He demonstrates daily that working for Cubeit has been a great experience for him by being an
impressive role model for our company.

Lisett is originally from the small town of Monteview, Idaho but now hails from Dubois, Idaho. She began her career at CubeIt Hay Company in August of 2021. Her job duties include complete care of all
the office needs and helping every aspect of Cubeit stay organized. Without Lisette’s abilities to keep the office grounded, and professionally juggle the daily schedule, Cubeit would not be able to engage the
public inquiries, emails and information to be shared on a daily basis. She is also in charge of weighing in and out all the trucks that come to the Cubeit facility. Her personal interests include meeting new
people, improving her skill set with media & marketing, and learning new ways to keep Cubeit running smoothly. Lisett is a friendly voice and face that we’ve come to rely on here at Cubeit Hay Company
